Brinkley Morgan Helps Children "March" Into Literacy

Mar 16, 2012 -- To help children march into literacy, the law firm of Brinkley Morgan recently held a March book drive to benefit the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County, a non-profit organization devoted to promoting and achieving literacy in the community.

"We want to do our part to assure that as many children as possible have the opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of reading, and hope our donation to the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County will help achieve that," said Phil Morgan, managing partner of Brinkley Morgan, a full-service law firm with offices in Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton. "Hosting a March book drive was a great way to celebrate the opening of our new Boca Raton office."

Attorneys and staff alike in both Brinkley Morgan offices participated in the collection drive, an initiative of the firm's "Brinkley Morgan Cares" charitable campaign. The firm collected a wide variety of children's books for young readers of all ages, helping to ensure a brighter future for local youth.

"The delightful variety of children's books we received at Brinkley Morgan's celebration of its new office in Boca Raton were wonderful," said Jeanne Siccone, Director of Children's Literacy at the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County. "We sincerely thank the firm for donating the books, which will benefit the children served by our youth literacy programs."
