Scott P. Chitoff Awarded Paul May Professionalism Award

Chitoff, a partner with the law firm of Brinkley, Morgan, Solomon, Tatum, Stanley, Lunny & Gordon, LLP, was awarded the Paul May Professionalism award at the Broward County Bar Association’s Annual Installation Dinner. This prestigious award is presented each year to a lawyer in the community who displays exemplary professionalism and participation in the legal community. Mr. Chitoff was chosen for his extensive work on the new Broward County Courthouse project as well as for his past performance as the President of the Young Lawyers’ Section of the Broward County Bar Association. Mr. Chitoff concentrates in the areas of business, real property and probate litigation; workouts related to troubled assets; the representation of businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals regarding business transactions including: the buying and selling of businesses; the formation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies; contracts and agreements. He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern, Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the Broward County Courthouse Advisory Task Force, Vice Chair of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee 17F, member of the Florida Bar Annual Meeting Committee, past member of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers’ Division Board of Governors and Immediate Past-President of the Broward County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Section. He is also a member of the Bnai’ Brith Justice Unit.
