Court Tosses $1.4M Award Won by Boca Raton Firm

May 26, 2011 -- The 4th District Court of Appeal recently threw out a $1.4 million lost profits jury trial award in a breach of contract case between Ryvmed Medical Products and Devon Medical. The appellate court concluded that the evidence used to project prospective lost profits was highly speculative and not proven. The reversal was won by the defense counsel made up of Scott Chitoff and Mark Levy of Brinkley Morgan and Paul Crowley, Esq. from Downington, Pa.
