About George Taylor

George Taylor is a Partner in Brinkley Morgan’s Estate and Trust Litigation and Business Litigation practice groups. His Estate and Trust Litigation practice focuses on helping families and fiduciaries solve legal problems related to fiduciary litigation, will and trust contests, trust accountings, breaches of fiduciary duty, removal of personal representatives (executors) and trustees including surcharge, creditor claims, elective share disputes, litigation between trust protectors, trustees, and trust beneficiaries, will construction, compensation disputes, issues with jointly held assets, reasonable reserve disputes, and homestead litigation.  George also represents beneficiaries and fiduciaries in connection with estate and trust administration.

Additionally, George’s Business Litigation practice concentrates on helping business owners with complex legal problems that arise in commercial and business relationships, like breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, conversion (embezzlement), and ownership disputes, including the litigation of those matters in both state and federal courts.

An active member of the community, Mr. Taylor serves on the boards of the Broward Performing Arts Foundation, the Salah Foundation, and the Board of Governors for Nova Southeastern University College of Law. Notably, Mr. Taylor was Chairman of the KIDS Campaign for Broward Health, whereby an astounding $22.6 million was raised in less than two years for the renovation and expansion of the children’s hospital at Broward Health Medical Center.

Mr. Taylor earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where he graduated 4th in his class, and received Book Awards (Highest Grade) for Charitable Organizations, Interviewing and Counseling, Probate Law Workshop, and Real Estate Transactions.
