Yueh-Mei Kim Nutter of Brinkley Morgan Elected to Association of Family and Conciliation Courts Board of Directors

Brinkley Morgan is pleased to announce that partner Yueh-Mei Kim Nutter has become a Board of Director of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), the premier interdisciplinary international association of professionals dedicated to the resolution of family conflict.

In this role, Kim will work alongside fellow board members to guide AFCC's strategic initiatives, foster collaboration among professionals across disciplines, and advance programs and resources that support families navigating complex legal disputes.

Kim is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has been a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Marital and Family Law for more than two decades. She concentrates her practice in the areas of family law and probate and estate litigation and is recognized by the Florida Supreme Court as a certified Family Mediator, certified Appellate Mediator and certified Dependency Guardian ad Litem and a family Guardian ad Litem.

For more than three decades, Kim has served as a Guardian ad Litem in family law proceedings in South Florida, advocating on behalf of abused and neglected children. She previously served as Chair of the Attorney ad Litem & Guardian ad Litem Ad Hoc Committee for the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar and helped develop a training program for individuals seeking appointment as Guardians ad Litem in family law proceedings, which she now owns and operates through Speaking for Kids, Inc.

Kim's commitment to the family law profession extends far beyond her legal practice. She is a founding member of Collaborative Family Lawyers of South Florida, Inc., a charter member and officer of the South Palm Beach County Collaborative Law Group, a Master Member of the Susan Greenberg Family Law American Inn of Court of the Palm Beaches and served as President of the Florida Chapter of AFCC in 2023. She has also served on the Florida Supreme Court Family Law Forms Advisory Group for more than 15 years.
