Benjamin Sunshine is a member of Brinkley Morgan’s Business Litigation and Estate and Trust Litigation practice groups. His Business Litigation practice concentrates on business torts and matters involving contractual, real property, and corporate disputes. He also represents creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
His Estate and Trust Litigation practice focuses on representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in a wide variety of estate and trust matters including breach of fiduciary claims, will and trust contests, and removal and surcharge proceedings. Mr. Sunshine also represents guardians in contested guardianship proceedings.
Mr. Sunshine is admitted to practice in Florida and Illinois. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.
He earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law. While in law school, he served as the Executive Production Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review and as a Staff Writer of the Illinois Business Law Journal. Mr. Sunshine earned his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Economics, and his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Political Science from the University of Florida.
