South Florida Family Law Attorney Roberta Stanley Inducted Into American College of Trial Lawyers
Family Law attorney Roberta Stanley, a Partner at the South Florida law firm of Brinkley Morgan, is now a Fellow of the exclusive American College of Trial Lawyers. She was inducted into the ACTL during a March 2nd ceremony in LaQuinta, California.
Founded in 1950, the American College of Trial Lawyers is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States and Canada. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only and only after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers of diverse backgrounds, who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality. Lawyers must have a minimum of fifteen years trial experience before they can be considered for Fellowship.
With more than 35 years of experience, Roberta Stanley is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Family and Marital Law and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She specializes in complex marital and family law cases for high-profile and high-net-worth individuals and business owners, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, paternity and adoption issues, dissolutions of marriage with equitable distribution, business valuations, taxation issues, alimony, child support and paternal responsibility and time sharing. She regularly consults and advises in out-of-state matters involving Florida family law issues.
Membership in the American College of Trial Lawyers cannot exceed one percent of the total lawyer population of any state or province. There are currently approximately 5,800 members in the United States and Canada, including active Fellows, Emeritus Fellows, Judicial Fellows (those who ascended to the bench after their induction) and Honorary Fellows.
